Had you tried other diets? Helena: You name it, I’ve tried it. Cabbage
soup, all types of shakes, been there and done them all!
Susan: Me too! I had tried
every diet known to man but none worked for me long term, so I was sceptical.
Why did you chose Lite n’
Easy? Helena: When my youngest was about 6 months old,
I gave them a call again, selected the meals that I wanted and they delivered them
to me every week after that. With two little girls to run after, I had no time to cook for
myself and so having everything done for me was fantastic.
Susan: And the food’s great!
If the food doesn’t taste good, you’re not going to stay on it for any length
of time. I was constantly surprised at the quality and freshness of the food,
especially the fruit and vegetables. I did the 1200 calorie, 7 day meal plan.
Helena: Yes the food is yummy! I often have to
fight off my husband and kids who want to share my Lite n’ Easy.
And the results? Helena: I lost 15 kilos in 12 weeks in early
2007 and have managed to keep the weight off for two years now!
Susan: I lost 9 kilos in 10
weeks in the beginning and have kept it off for more than 2 years as well.
How have your kept the
weight off long term? Helena: I do my own breakfasts and lunches now
but I still have Lite n’ Easy dinners every night! I never went off them.
Susan: I tend to come and go
from the Lite n’ Easy program to suit my lifestyle. Just recently I went back
on the full 7 day 1200 calorie meal plan when I got back from a holiday in Thailand and
had put on a few kilos.
How did you feel being
asked back to do TV for a second time? Helena: I love ‘working’ on the Lite n’ Easy
ads, if you call being preened, pampered and treated like a super model for a
day, work.
Susan: The girls are
actually really proud of me and call me their ‘movie star mummy’. But I am just
your average, every day person who has had success from something. I think that
if you’ve had success and you’ve kept it off for over 2 years you want to let people
know that it really is easy and it really does work. Well done ladies!
