The new Autumn Menu celebrates everything we love about autumn with fresh, seasonal ingredients. We’ve got warming breakfasts, and heatable salads for lunch or dinner, perfect for when the weather starts to get a little cooler.
Eggs are a versatile and filling source of protein that can be enjoyed with any meal throughout the day. Plus, eggs are also a source of heart healthy Omega-3s and can help you feel full for longer. That’s why we feature eggs heavily on our breakfast menu. Try our protein-rich options for breakfast like the Egg, Cherry Tomatoes, Avo & Fetta on Ciabatta. Or the Ham, Egg & Cheese Melt or the Fresh Omelette.
Did you know that beans and other legumes count towards your 5 vegetables a day? They’re also packed with fibre and the perfect fuel for your gut microbes. Plus, they’re a healthy source of carbohydrates and contain iron and B vitamins. Legumes are a feature ingredient on our Autumn Menu. So start your day off with baked beans for breakfast or why not enjoy the new Chicken, Apple & Walnut Salad which features delicious, gut loving lentils.
Beetroot is a great autumnal root vegetable and is a good source of fibre, folate, vitamin C, manganese and iron. It’s a delicious addition to many salads and even our traditional Aussie Beef Burger features a slice of beetroot. Why not sample new menu items like the Chicken & Roasted Beetroot Salad with Fetta and Caramelised Balsamic Dressing or the Lentil & Roasted Beetroot Salad for a veggie option.
Mushrooms are a versatile, low calorie source of fibre and antioxidants. They taste delicious and give extra flavour without sodium or fat. We’ve included mushrooms in a number of new meals on the menu, including the Breakfast Wrap with egg, mushrooms, ham and spinach, and the Cheesy Mushroom & Semi Dried Tomato Penne. Be sure to add them to your next delivery!
Turmeric is a spice that comes from the root of the turmeric plant and is frequently used to flavour curries and rice. It’s even popping up in coffee shops with turmeric lattes and smoothies. It has a distinct yellow colour and is highly nutritious. Turmeric is more than just a bright, colourful spice. It’s also full of anti-inflammatory properties and has featured in traditional diets for thousands of years. We’ve included this spice in a variety of meals on our new menu. Check out our delicious new salads like the Chicken, Broccoli & Turmeric Rice Salad with Zesty Dressing or the Warm Japanese Beef and Rice Salad.
Oats are highly nutritious and packed with important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. They are a wholegrain cereal and are rich in beta-glucan, which is a type of soluble fibre. Beta-glucan can reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels. And it also promotes healthy gut biome and is great for keeping us full for longer. We love oats and have featured them on the Autumn Menu in dishes like the Creamy Almond & Vanilla Oats Apple or the Apple & Raspberry Bircher Muesli for brekky!
