Living in Melbourne during lockdown 2020 was a very difficult time both mentally and physically. I found myself not exercising and indulging in bad foods out of boredom and my weight slowly crept up. This in turn resulted in my energy levels dropping.
I was feeling the biggest I ever had been in my life, and I finally decided enough was enough. The main trigger though was that I had started applying for new jobs that required a fitness test, so I knew I had to get my health back on track.
I chose Lite n’ Easy because when I was younger my mum used it, so I knew it was effective. The biggest selling point for me is the convenience, everything is packed and ready to go – I don’t have to think about it.
Originally, I started on the 1800 Calorie Meal Plan, but quickly changed to the 1500 Calorie Plan where I stayed for a while. I made the jump to the 1200 Calorie Meal Plan to get those final results I was after.
I absolutely love the food and was impressed to see that Lite n’ Easy offer fresh options for dinner.
My favourite dinner without a doubt is the Steak Diane, and my favourite lunch would be any of the fresh dumplings they offer. Breakfast favourites are the frittata and the bacon and zucchini bread!
The thing I love most is that you don’t need to cut out bread or sweets, you get a small amount of these allocated in your week which is important to me. Plus, I was spending a lot of money on junk food, so for me I am able to save money being on Lite n’ Easy as it is very reasonably priced.
I’m 10 kilos down and feeling so much better plus I’m fitting into clothes I haven’t fit into for years!
Since my weight loss I have a new zest for life, I’ve been trying new things and sticking to the healthy exercise regime. I enjoy personal training and reformer Pilates on a weekly basis.
Thanks to the team at Lite n’ Easy for taking me on this journey!
