Up until 2018 I’d always been a keen cyclist and triathlete. But I stopped training as we had both got so busy with our careers and the birth of our son Quinn. Then COVID hit and in the space of two years, I had put on twenty kilos! So my wife Emma and I started Lite n’ Easy Jump Start Plus at the start of February.

We found the first week really easy and really exciting because we were surprised by the result we got on the Jump Start program. Both of us achieved double the weight loss we thought we would in the first few weeks!

I’ve now lost 22 kilos, and Emma has lost 13 kilos thanks to Lite n’ Easy’s Jump Start Plus.

I was totally out of shape at the beginning, but by March I had lost quite a few kilos and I got back on my bike trainer and started riding again. Now I ride almost every day.

The meals were delicious and we didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. We actually felt like we were having much more variety in our diet. The Lite n’ Easy program allows us to each have different types of cuisines for dinner as well as different breakfasts and lunches. And it’s all well-balanced throughout the day; that’s why we continue to order it now.

We wouldn’t call it “diet food”. It’s definitely “lifestyle food”.

Having all our meals set out for the day means we’ve got more free time. We don’t have to worry about preparing dinner in the afternoon because we know it’s already there, ready when we need it. So now we have more time for more family-oriented activities. We get out with Quinn and go to playgrounds more often and experience more of our local environment. It’s made everything better, almost as if we’ve emerged from a hibernation.

We’ve reached our goals, and it’s a wonderful feeling. I have loads more energy and I don’t snore anymore. Plus, I’ve gone off medications like blood pressure etc. because I don’t need them anymore. People have been totally amazed and we’ve inspired a bunch of people to give it a go. The most common question I get asked is: “Is it expensive?” My answer: “Nope, we’re actually saving money”.

With all the take-away and food waste we had before now gone, we’re saving money.
