In 2019 my doctor told me to lose weight as my blood pressure was elevated. I decided on the 1st of January 2020, this was the year I would focus on myself. I was tired of struggling to do the simple things like bending over and cutting my toenails. So, I investigated various options and decided on Lite n’ Easy.
I needed convenience as part of the solution due to my demanding job in childcare and Lite n’ Easy ticked that box.
Once my husband Craig decided to join me as well our meals were taken care of. We chose the 1200 lunch and dinner program and had a shake for breakfast. We found the first few weeks a challenge, but we pushed through, and the weight came off each week.
I started at 97 kilos and set an initial goal to lose 10 kilos, then revised to 20 kilos and now I have lost a grand total of 30 kilos!
The simplicity of taking my lunch to work with everything prepared and portion controlled, made each day so much easier. My husband has also lost 10 kilos and continues to enjoy the dinners.
As the weight came off, I started picking up the exercise and joined an online gym group in March due to Covid-19 restrictions. Now the gyms are open I can attend a couple of times a week.
I just love the convenience and the variety of all the meals.
It’s been a great experience and I recommend other friends to give it a go!
