Congratulations Lauren – Triathlon Silver Medalist at the Tokyo Paralympics

I’ve learnt over the years that it’s more than just me that allows me to have the success that I’ve had. It’s the team around me and Lite n’ Easy is a major part of my team and success in winning the Triathlon Silver Medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.

Before I had the opportunity to try Lite n’ Easy, I had tried several other meal delivery services and didn’t continue due to the lack of taste and nutrition in the meals.

Protein plays an importance role for me as an athlete because it helps repair and strengthen muscle tissue and supports a leaner stronger body.

The opportunity arose with Lite n’ Easy so I thought I would take it up. I did some research and discovered the nutrition I needed was there in the meals and that would meet my training demands. My only concern was taste, but after trying the meals I couldn’t believe it.

The variety in the menu was really great and I had a lot of options to choose from. There wasn’t a meal that I didn’t like. They all have so much flavour!

Convenience was definitely a major factor in choosing Lite n’ Easy. My days are so busy and full of a lot training so the last thing I wanted to do was cook. Lite n’ Easy has made it so simple for me and has allowed me to get more recovery time in between my training sessions because I don’t need to think of what I’m going to eat, prepare and cook.

Having nutritionally balanced meals is of utmost importance because without the right nutrition, I won’t get the most out of myself in training and competition. Lite n’ Easy is a major part of my everyday living for success because I know that the dietary component in the meals meet my training demands.
