This time last year, I was 99.6 kilos the heaviest I had ever been.
I had tried other diets, but they were all very restricted and time consuming, so I gave up and put all the weight back on and more. I knew I had to do something as I was uncomfortable. Easy tasks like doing my shoelaces were an effort!
I was looking after my mother, who is very ill and she really wanted me to do something about my weight as she was concerned about my health. I decided after new year I would try Lite n’ Easy and thought “what do I have to lose?”
I ordered the 1200 calorie 7 day breakfast lunch and dinner plan. My first order arrived on the 17 January 2019. I was so excited, but I must admit I was sceptical thinking it was not going to work.
From Day One Lite n’ Easy breakfast – straight away, I loved the food, the variety of choices, the convenience, and that everything was done for me.
I never felt I was on a diet.
The first week I lost 2 kilos, and that was enough to make me realise that this can actually work for me. Each week I saw my weight go down, and that motivated me to keep going. I started walking for an hour every day.
I lost nearly 30 kilos in the first six months, and eventually, I joined the gym. If someone had told me I’ll join a gym and love it ten months ago I’d think they were crazy.
Today ten months later I have gone from 99.6 kilos to 50 kilos!
I am down from a size 22 to a size 8 to 10. I go to the gym three times a week, and I walk the dog for 1.5 hours every day. I’m loving life, and I feel amazing.
