When I was 18, I moved out of my country home town to the city for more work opportunity. As someone who liked to help cook at home, I found once I moved out, I lost all motivation to prepare meals for myself.

On top of the lack of motivation, I was also struggling with depression and anxiety, so simple tasks such as making dinner could sometimes feel overwhelming for me when I hit a low. Throw in the newfound convenience of junk food, I fell into unhealthy eating habits.

I’m a strong believer that your physical and mental health go hand in hand.

So I knew that although I saw junk food as ‘comfort food,’ it was only causing me to feel worse. This is when I decided to try Lite n’ Easy!

The biggest reason I decided to start Lite n’ Easy was for the convenience.

Within the first week I found that just the organisation of having everything ready to go made me feel less overwhelmed – I even felt quite satisfied looking into my organised fridge!

I was  convinced that I was going to be given tiny meals that left me feeling hungry. As someone who loves food and seems to always be hungry,  this was a concern, but I actually felt fuller!

Between the yummy meals and the healthy snacks in between I stopped my unhealthy grazing and ‘boredom eating.’ The convenience of having healthy food for the week delivered to my door has been such a game changer for me.

It’s not only convenient, but delicious as well!

On top of all that, it’s affordable for a single young adult living out of home with bills to pay. So, with all the positives, it doesn’t even have a catch like financial stress. Lite n’ Easy is just all round a fantastic program.

Getting onto Lite n’ Easy was the best decision I made.
