As a teacher, I have to take lunch with me each day to work, and I am also a mum of two young children. I always made sure that my husband and children have a great lunch but was finding myself grabbing the nearest convenient thing to eat for lunch and falling victim to the countless morning teas and snack bowls at work.
Whilst I wasn’t seriously overweight, I was not happy with myself and definitely needed to make some changes to my daytime eating.
I wanted to eat real food that was still quick and convenient.
I also needed a solution that provided me with the fuel I need to train as a triathlete and runner.
Lite n’ Easy took the guesswork out of it all and gave me fantastic lunches with so much variety. It also gave me healthy, yummy snacks that had my colleagues salivating!
After my first delivery, I was hooked.
I was a bit worried that it might not fuel me correctly for my training, which at this stage can be up to 18 hours a week, but this has not been an issue at all. I find the meals are quite protein dense which suit my needs perfectly.
I’ve also discovered the Mini Meals and Easy Bites meals, which my daughter loves having for dinner. I make sure I’ve got some spare Lite n’ Easy dinners in the freezer for when I’ve had a mammoth day and don’t feel like cooking. The tortilla stack is my fave!
I’ve lost five kilos which might not seem like much, but I feel fantastic. I’ve noticed my energy levels have increased, I’m sleeping better, and my stress is far lower. I’ve won my age group in two duathlons since starting Lite n’ Easy.
I am so happy I made the switch!
