Jump start combines 5:2 fasting with our delicious meals

How does it work?

On Jump Start your first two weeks of Lite n’ Easy combines 5 days of normal eating with 2 days of fasting. On the fasting days, your breakfast and morning snack are removed.

Each week on Jump Start your meal plan will include 7 Dinners + 7 Lunches & Snacks + 5 Breakfasts & Snacks. Depending on which Jump Start pack you choose, this combination reduces your weekly calorie intake by approximately 600 to 800 calories compared to the normal 7 Day Full Meal Plans and gives your body additional time to burn calories on the fasting days.

Once you’ve set up your account, simply start your first order and select from one of the 2 Jump Start pack options:

  • Jump Start Standard (based on our normal 1200 Calorie Plan)
  • Jump Start Extra (based on our normal 1500 Calorie Plan)

You can then select your 7 lunch and dinner choices for each day, and choose the 2 days you would prefer as your fasting days before selecting 5 breakfasts.

What comes after Jump Start?

After your initial two weeks on Jump Start, we recommend you switch over to our regular 7 Day Full Meal Plans with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks supplied every day. You will be able to select from the 1200, 1500 or 1800 calorie plans.

By doing so, you’ll not only continue to achieve great weight loss results, but you will also get the FULL nutrition and health benefits of Lite n’ Easy. This includes the recommended 5 serves of veggies and 2 serves of fruit each day which can help reduce your risk of suffering many lifestyle diseases later in life.

What if you're hungry on a fasting day?

It is normal to feel a bit hungrier on days when you are eating less food. Try to schedule your fasting for days where you have lots of distractions so that you aren’t thinking about food.  To manage hunger, make sure you are drinking plenty of still or sparkling water, as this will help to keep you feeling full.

If after the first week on Jump Start you find the fasting approach too difficult to stick to, we recommend you switch over to one of our regular 7 Day, Full Meal Plans with breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks supplied every day. You will be able to select from the 1200, 1500 or 1800 calorie plans.
