Up until 3 years ago, I was caring for my wife, and Lite n’ Easy meals were an essential support in managing all the extra responsibilities involved. Sadly, she passed away.

Having these meals prepared for me makes sure I get my protein and vegetable intake for the day, and I can enjoy a tasty meal with no cooking required.

I order online but also on occasion, ring the call centre, and I highly praise the excellent customer service I have received. They have a dedicated team for us seniors on a Home Care Package.

This includes meeting mates through the week for walks and bowls, both lawn and indoor. I also like to go hiking up into the hills, walking the 5km to the top of the mountain and back, then having coffee and talking world affairs with some mates. In total I try to walk around 30-40kms per week!

As well as walking, coffees and bowls, I like wood turning and writing poetry. It was a poem of mine that I sent to Lite n’ Easy which first got me thinking that I should share my story.
