Gluten

What is Gluten?

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, barley and triticale (and sometimes oats). It gives foods such as bread and pasta their springy texture, and helps baked goods stay moist and fresh. Gluten is always declared on Lite n’ Easy labels as gluten-containing cereals, “wheat, rye, oats, barley or spelt”.

What can Lite n’ Easy offer?

Lite n’ Easy meal plans are not gluten free, however Lite n’ Easy can offer a range of dinners that are made without gluten-containing ingredients. Note that these meals are produced in kitchens that also produce meals that contain gluten and therefore are not suitable for those with coeliac disease or food allergies.
