Brett Johnston, Senior Development Chef Brett Johnston is an accomplished Product Development Chef with over 19 years of experience in delivering products and processes that push the boundaries of traditional food manufacturing. After starting in the restaurant trade, he successfully transitioned into large scale commercial food manufacturing representing the hospitality, food service, retail and airline sectors. Combining his creative talent and passion for the culinary arts, Brett leads the team of development chefs to create eating experiences that are delicious and healthy.
Ashleigh Jones, APD Senior Dietitian Ashleigh Jones is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with more than 10 years of experience. She also leads our dedicated team of Dietitians. Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Health Science and a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from Griffith University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland. A passionate foodie, Ashleigh has been building menus and involved with new product development at Lite n' Easy since 2015.
Melissa Holloway, APD Dietitian Melissa Holloway is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from Victoria University of Wellington and a Master of Science (Dietetics) from Victoria University, Melbourne. She has extensive experience working in food service across various industries, including aged care, hospitals, and for elite sports at the Australian Institute of Sport. Melissa has been working as a dietitian since 2013 and oversees seasonal menu development and nutrition innovation at Lite n' Easy.
Denis Smith Research and Development Chef Denis Smith is a Qualified Chef with over 25 years’ experience working in restaurants and catering around Australia and the world. He has 11 years of experience developing products for supermarkets and food service companies. Some of the products he has developed were for, Australia’s most trusted household brands and companies. Denis has always been passionate about healthy eating and has found his place with Lite n’ Easy as one of our product development team.
Tony Ng, APD Dietitian Tony Ng is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with first-class honours from the University of Wollongong and an Associate Degree in Computer Studies from the City University of Hong Kong. Tony has varied professional experience, including using his dietetics and computer science skills to develop nutrition software. He has a keen interest in food comparison, data analytics and product labelling. Tony has been working as a dietitian since 2009, and overseas nutrition labelling, nutrient analysis and data insight at Lite n' Easy.
Sarah Cinar, APD Dietitian Sarah Cinar ia an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition Science and a Master of Dietetics from Monash University, Melbourne. She is a passionate advocate for nutritious and delicious food and has a keen interest in product development and nutrition research. Her nutrition philosophy stems from her love for food and culture and believes that variety, balance and moderation is key to healthy eating. Sarah has been working as a dietitian at Lite n' Easy since 2021 and plays a key role in nutrition labelling, nutrient analysis and product education.
Larissa Robbins, APD Dietitian Larissa Robbins is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) from the Queensland University of Technology. She has extensive experience working across Australia and the UK in the food industry, corporate health, hospitals and private practice. Larissa has been working as a dietitian since 2011. She plays a vital role in nutrition training and development at Lite n' Easy.
David Hunter, Development Chef David Hunter has over 45 years of experience working professionally in the restaurant industry. He followed his passion for healthy food and nutrition by immigrating to Australia from the UK in 1996 to take up an Executive Chef position at a leading health retreat. This role allowed him to promote a healthy lifestyle to the guests through culinary experiences and nutritional education. David joined Lite n Easy in 2016, utilising his creative skills to further his passion for the ultimate healthy eating experience.
Fleur Lesslie, APD Dietitian Fleur Lesslie is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics from Griffith University. Fleur has been working as a dietitian since 2018 and has extensive experience working in private practice across a range of areas in chronic disease and gut health, with a special interest in menu development and nutrition for aged care and people with disabilities. Fleur is dedicated to encouraging practical strategies, ensuring eating healthy is the easiest option, and is responsible for menu development and new product education at Lite n’ Easy.
Bell Silverthorne, Senior Wellbeing Advisor Bell Silverthorne has completed a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology and a Graduate Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine. She has nearly 15 years of experience facilitating positive behaviour change within corporate health. Bell believes the small decisions we make should be celebrated. Whether it's prioritising exercise, increasing your veggie intake or doing something good for our headspace. Harnessing these good habits gives you a healthier, happier version of yourself. It also helps to prevent, manage and even reverse chronic disease. Bell follows evidence-based best practice principles and has been the Senior Wellbeing Advisor with Lite n' Easy since 2016.
Dr Suzanne Pearson, Dietitian, Injury Prevention and Movement Specialist Suzanne Pearson holds a PhD in Nutrition, a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, a Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy and Certificates III and IV in Fitness. With a naturally curious mind, she continues to pursue additional studies to remain abreast of current research and update her skills to best support those she works with. Appreciating that no two people can be cared for in the same way, she works with individuals to understand their unique needs and offers personalised, evidence-based lifestyle solutions to support their health and wellbeing.
