We were weighing our bags at the airport before going on holiday and I decided to hop on; I genuinely thought the scales were broken when I read 106 kilos. The weight had piled on after quitting smoking a few years earlier and then my daughter getting engaged and moving out. Living alone, I just stopped caring about what I ate and I developed some bad eating habits.

My meals just turn up every Friday and they’re all sorted into daily bags, so I don’t have to think about anything. I love the convenience of no grocery shopping, no cooking and no fuss. I work from home, so having all my meals ready to go is a massive timesaver. I even save my snacks to enjoy while watching TV in the evenings. It doesn’t feel like a diet, it just feels like living well.
When I first started, walking was hard. My knees hurt and I could barely make it down the street without getting puffed. But as the weight started coming off, I was able to walk further and faster. Now I walk twice a day for about two hours in total and I feel amazing. The difference in my energy and confidence has been incredible. It’s like I’ve got my life back.
When I was asked to attend the Lite n’ Easy success story photo shoot, it felt unbelievable to me. I’m now in a size 12 and sometimes even a size 10, which I never thought would happen. For the first time in my life, my BMI is in the healthy range. I honestly feel so proud. Friends have even started Lite n’ Easy after seeing my transformation!
