I’m very happy living in a self-care retirement village, we have our own pool and social activities as well as a bus to take us on trips. I have a cute ragdoll cat to keep me company and I love painting, knitting and gardening.

I suffer from Atrial Fibrillation which is an irregular heartbeat that can be worse if overweight. So I was keen to lose a bit of weight by eating healthier.

I had been cooking all my own meals before, which was quite arduous as its hard to cook for one and still enjoy good variety.
