Before Lite n’ Easy, I was overwhelmed. After having my children, life became increasingly chaotic. I was working full-time, caring for three young children, and trying to juggle everything, including my health. I’d cook different meals for the kids, and by the time it was my turn to eat, I was too exhausted and stressed to prepare something healthy. I struggled with portion control and emotional eating, which only made me feel more frustrated and guilty about my eating habits and weight.

My weight had crept up to 90kg, putting me in the obese range, despite regular workouts. After gestational diabetes during pregnancy, I knew I needed to act to protect my long-term health. I’d tried other diets, but they weren’t sustainable with my busy life. Then I found Lite n’ Easy. The BMI calculator showed I was in the red zone, that was my wake-up call.
I’m still eating food I enjoy, burgers, pizza, cake, but in the right portions. I’m never left craving more. The meals are delicious, satisfying, and nutritionally balanced, and they’ve completely changed my relationship with food. I even enjoy vegetables, avocado, and cheese now, things I never would’ve touched before!
With my meals sorted, I have more time and energy for the gym and my kids. I feel lighter, stronger, and more confident after losing 23kg—and I’ve stayed within a few kilos of that for over six months. I’m finally in control of my health and now share my journey on Instagram to support others who feel stuck. To maintain my weight and fuel my Hyrox training, I switch between the 1200 and 1500 calorie plans based on my energy needs around competitions.
