My weight gain was primarily due to changing job roles from a very active position to an office job. At my heaviest, I was 105kg. I had a lot of pain in my back, hips and knees, I was lacking in confidence, avoiding photos and stopped going out with my friends. I was diagnosed as having high cholesterol, pre-diabetic, a perforated disc in my back and Arthritis in my left knee. I even had trouble sleeping due to joint pain. All of this and I was still in my 20s.
