At 85 kilos I was heavy and tired. I went on a family holiday that involved a lot of walking and when my breathing got ragged, I started to worry about my long-term health. My dad had a heart attack at 52 and later in life developed Type 2 Diabetes. I was at a point where anxiety played a big part in my life but I wanted to be healthy for my kids. I knew I couldn’t go down that same path and risk my health in the same way.
I decided to go back to Lite n’ Easy like I had before my wedding when I successfully lost 21 kilos. I knew it worked for weight loss, but this time I was looking more long-term, focussing on nutrition first, and planned to use Lite n’ Easy to educate myself about portion sizes, healthy foods, etc.
I ordered the 1200-calorie Lite 7-Day Meal Plan. I love their fresh meals including the chicken schnitzel and I really like the creative combinations of the salads. Plus, the White Chocolate Blush Cake was a special treat.
I lost 15 kilos in the first 12 months and started walking as my fitness grew. Now, 18 months later I have lost 22 kilos and learnt so much about good food and healthy eating. I can power walk for over an hour now without getting puffed and my friend Natalie has lost 10 kilos as well after seeing my success.
Now I customise the menu to suit my needs and currently use it for work lunches and some dinners.
It helps me not have to think about what to eat at work and avoid making poorer choices when I’m hungry so it’s very convenient for my lifestyle.
Thanks to Lite n’ Easy I have maintained a healthy 63 kilos, I'm a better mum to my kids and feel happy within myself!
It is such a relief knowing that eating right and keeping up the walking will give me better mental clarity to get me through each day.
