When Sydney was plunged into Covid lockdown I was somewhat relieved to retreat home. In the months prior I had been indulging in too much junk food and my weight had crept up to 77 kilos, making me a size 14.

Most of my clothes didn’t fit and if I could squeeze into them, it was uncomfortable.

I hated how I looked but even worse was how I felt. I was tired, unmotivated, my thighs were chaffing, and I was even struggling to hold yoga poses due to the excess fat around my midsection. I was meant to be the best (wo)man for my brother’s wedding but couldn’t find a dress I felt good in.

I decided to go on Lite n’ Easy to lose weight and eat healthier.

I also liked the fact I didn’t have to go to shops in the middle of a pandemic, since I live in an area that was of concern at the time. The food was conveniently delivered to my home, packed in bags numbered for the days so I knew exactly what to eat. All the meals were delicious, and I was actually shocked at how much food I was given to eat! I especially looked forward to the sweet treats like the Blush Cake.

Four months later I was down 12 kilos!

I do yoga once a week, Pilates twice and a bit of walking, but nothing too strenuous. It’s so satisfying putting on clothes I couldn’t get into at the start of the year and having them be too big. I feel happier, energetic, and more confident now. My friends and family are noticing my weight loss and I love the compliments I am receiving.
